Environmental Science & Policy

Dan Sperling’s research focuses on the use of transportation and energy technologies to achieve societal goals.  He manages major research programs on advanced vehicle technologies and fuels, transportation in developing countries, and the development of “new mobility” systems using information and communication technologies. 

Dan is part of the graduate groups in Transportation Technology and Policy, Ecology, and Civil and Environmental Engineering.
