Jorge Arroyo-Esquivel leads research with Marissa Baskett and Alan Hastings on kelp forest restoration

A study of kelp forest restoration led by Jorge Arroyo-Esquivel, a PhD Candidate in Alan Hastings' lab, Marissa Baskett, and Alan Hastings was featured in the Bay Nature magazine. The authors used models to investigate the relative efficacy of different restoration strategies on bull kelp growth and spread.  Sea Grant California at UCSD also published an article describing the work.
