The Information Center for the Environment (Jim Thorne, Jim Quinn) has a long history of collaborating with public agencies to apply database, GIS, internet, and information system tool to advancing public policy in conservation science, biodiversity, sustainable land management, land use planning, watershed and water quality, climate impact projection, and ecosystem services valuation on both natural-protected mixed working landscapes.
