Introductory animal biology (Biological Sciences 1B) recommended; residence at or near Bodega Marine Lab required. Student must complete the application available at http://www.bml.ucdavis.edu. Ecology of marine populations and communities living in diverse habitats along the California coast. Hands-on learning using scientific process and tools of the biological trade to address ecological questions arising during field trips. Critical thinking through discussing scientific literature.
